Regular priceRM0.00 MYR
The essays in this book present an evolving perspective on library translation, with special reference to the Malay world. They begin with three early papers that are personally reflective, becoming more theoretical as they outline the major premises of the new and exciting academic discipline of Translation Studies. Drawing on current translation theory, they then deal in detail with the translation of Indonesian poetry and the work of such major authors as Abdullah Munshi, Kemala, Shahnon Ahmad and Muhammad Haji Salleh.
